Orry Dubois, CTO, ZPX Cloud (A TierPoint Technology Partner)

Mr. Dubois has over 30 years’ experience in the DR industry in various management and leadership roles with multiple DR Services providers. His career started as an IT technician and his hands on style lead to management roles including operational responsibilities for the flagship disaster recovery facilities of Comdisco, Sungard and product development roles at IBM. During his tenure his leadership experience was instrumental in assisting clients thru the impacts of September 11, 2001.

 

Over the last ten years the IT industry has seen a significant transformation of how applications are designed, developed managed and presented to the business departments in organizations. The pace of change for companies to compete in their respective industries has created new risk management challenges.

 

Mr. Dubois plans to present a change in thinking in how to design and deliver DRaaS solutions that yield unprecedented business resumption capabilities, and uniquely operationalize DR solutions to provide data driven insights and confront the challenges of Cyber threats.

Rick Fournier, Director, Digital Realty

Rick Fournier is a 22 year veteran of the data center industry with a background in critical infrastructure, design-build, operations, and outsourced hosting. He works with enterprises on data center strategy, space/power optimization, and interconnection planning as his clients move through their digital transformation. Based in the Chicago area, Rick works with Midwest based companies on deploying their IT footprints around the globe.

Brett Foy, Global VP of Sales Engineering, Datrium

Brett Foy is the Global VP of Sales Engineering for Datrium, an innovate storage, data protection, disaster recovery and cloud company headquartered in Sunnyvale CA. Brett lives in the Chicago area and came to Datrium after working in the local Chicago IT market for the last 13 years between EMC and AHEAD; where as VP of Engineering, he ran all pre-sales and datacenter services / delivery practices as well as helped hundreds of clients design, deploy and operate datacenter infrastructure solutions. Prior to joining EMC in 2005, Brett was an AVP at Zurich Financial Services with responsibility for running open systems IT for 11 datacenters with 130 employees. Brett is a passionate technology enthusiast who loves exposing new technology approaches and options to help IT organizations adopt new technology to simplify operations and reduce cost and complexity.

He has worked in health institutions, manufacturing companies, insurance companies, retail businesses, utilities, communications companies, state government, petroleum industry, and financial institutions.

 

Paul has held the CBCP Certification since 1994 and is founding member of the Business Reliance Professionals of Wisconsin.

Jeff Roseman, Director IT Infrastructure & Security, Wilton Brands

Jeff is an experienced IT executive with over two decades of experience in both technology management and consulting roles. With experience in global business, marketing, sales, business process re-engineering, and as an IT director, CIO and consultant, he has worked both sides of the technology world. Mr. Roseman possesses an extensive background working with regional, national, and international businesses in a variety of industries including professional services, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, legal, real estate, construction, and non-profit. He has a broad knowledge of IT strategy, networking, telecommunications, training & development, systems integration, mergers and acquisitions, facility relocation, and business continuity planning.

 

Mr. Roseman continues to be successful moving IT teams from a crises management mentality to predictive, proactive, disciplined organization. He has previously lectured on social media & networking, IT leadership, customer relationship management, endpoint security, and disaster recovery planning. Mr. Roseman has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Iowa. He mentors undergraduate/MBA students in the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business and serves on College’s SoMAC board. He lives in Wheaton with his wife and two teenage daughters.

I’m the CTO of Lakeside Information Systems – a company that specializes in D.R. and BCP solutions as well as data center migrations and global network architecture.

 

At present I’m the Global Network Architect for Manpowergroup.

 

Recently I was the Enterprise Architect and Disaster Recovery Architect for Manpower North America – a role I still play with some frequency.

 

I have worked in over 48 countries around the world, have two beautiful Pharaoh Hounds named Ptah and Fubis and currently reside in Racine, WI.

Richard Vassell, DR/BCP Leader, Quad Graphics

Richard Vassell, IT Sr. Manager at Quad is responsible for the enterprise database administration teams, application transformation team and the enterprise DR/Service Continuity plan development and maintenance.

 

With over 25 years of experience in database administration and leading application development and integration teams, Richard led the transformation of Quad’s document centric recovery plan to a more process centric plan and established a continuous improvement cycle for training, feedback, testing and enhancement.

 

An avid road tripper who plans to cover all mainland states and Canadian provinces with the family, and also enjoys board games and playing soccer with the kids.
