Within today’s business world of re-imagining business models, organizations, technology and value streams, we have learnt change management is something we need to include and do. We then treat the outcomes we want as a myriad of discrete change management projects. Each project typically needs done fast and cheap with limited change resources. The resulting reality is the volume, complexity and level of change required is at an all-time high. As a consequence so is the growth in confusion, productivity impact, cost and fatigue. Next generation change management focuses on removing the management in change management and achieving ongoing desired business outcomes.
