Frank Geraldi, Innovative Technology Solutions – Panel Moderator

Frank Geraldi has been in the Information Technology field for the past 25 years, providing Managed Service Solutions which include Security Operations, IT Strategy and Consulting,  Service Desk, End User support and Infrastructure Management and Monitoring.  Frank has spent his career providing many of these  solutions to organizations in verticals which include manufacturing, healthcare, financial and government.

Fred Kwong, Ph.D., CISO & AVP Security, Identity & Operations, Delta Dental Plans Association  

Dr. Fred Kwong has been in the information technology field for the past 15 years in working in education, financial, and telecommunication sectors. Fred currently works at a Farmers Insurance where he currently is the Global Head of Privileged Access Control. Fred is currently building a new program seeking to govern, control, and profile privileged identities throughout the enterprise.

 

Fred’s work includes the creation of security and privacy policies, standards, and procedures. He is a subject matter expert in PCI, leading organizations to pass their report on compliance. With an extensive background in IT technologies, Fred continues to challenge the status quo by providing guidance in security and network architecture creating holistic designs that align to todays’ threat vector for organizations.

 

Fred has a passion of combining IT skills with organization development values. His broad range of IT skills has allowed him to view IT from many different paradigms and present them to the business partners in an easy to understand language. Fred servers as an adjunct professor at Benedictine and Roosevelt University teaching courses in international business, organization behavior, project management, and information systems. He holds a Ph.D. from Benedictine University and earned his master’s degree in business administration from Roosevelt University. Fred is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), and a PCI Professional (PCIP).

Milan Patel, Global Co-Head of Managed Security Services, BlueVoyant

Milan Patel joined our team after his role as managing director in the Cyber Defense practice at K2 Intelligence. Before K2 Intelligence, Milan was the CTO of the FBI Cyber Division in charge of technology strategy.

Milan organized and co-lead the Joint Requirements Team, facilitated by the White House National Security Council. Prior to that, Milan was one of the FBI’s most senior cyber agents and initiated and led numerous high profile, global cyber investigations.

Milan was a member of the FBI’s elite SWAT team, and was the recipient of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.

Luis Rodriguez, Enterprise Sales Engineer, Mimecast  

Luis Rodriguez is an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Mimecast. He has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry as a Systems Administrator, Consultant, Project Delivery Specialist and Sales Engineer. Luis is passionate about helping customers become more cyber resilient in an ever evolving threat landscape.

His international business experience and his varied interactions across different levels within the organizations that he has partnered with, give him a unique perspective to help bridge the gap between the different silos that plague most major US corporations today. The silo mentality is one of the biggest impediments to building an effective security strategy. It is his mission to educate and collaborate with the wider community of security professionals to create a more secure IT ecosystem.

Jeff Roseman, Vice President, Information Technology, Marmon Foodservice Technologies, a Berkshire Hathaway Company

Jeff is an experienced IT executive with over two decades of experience in both technology management and consulting roles. With experience in global business, marketing, sales, business process re-engineering, and as an IT director, CIO and consultant, he has worked both sides of the technology world. Mr. Roseman possesses an extensive background working with regional, national, and international businesses in a variety of industries including professional services, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, legal, real estate, construction, and non-profit. He has a broad knowledge of IT strategy, networking, telecommunications, training & development, systems integration, mergers and acquisitions, facility relocation, and business continuity planning.

Mr. Roseman continues to be successful moving IT teams from a crises management mentality to predictive, proactive, disciplined organization. He has previously lectured on social media & networking, IT leadership, customer relationship management, endpoint security, and disaster recovery planning. Mr. Roseman has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Iowa. He mentors undergraduate/MBA students in the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business and serves on College’s SoMAC board. He lives in Wheaton with his wife and two teenage daughters.

 

Edward Marchewka, MS, MBA, CISSP, PMP, Director, Information & Technology Services, Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network  

Edward Marchewka is the Director of Information Technology for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network. In his role, Edward is responsible for maintaining and securing the infrastructure for 24/7/365 operations, supporting the IT customer environment, and delivering and supporting the enterprise applications that run Gift of Hope. His teams work with Gift of Hope’s internal and external customers to deliver high quality information and technology services. Edward is also the Founder and Creator of CHICAGO Metrics™, a platform to a program to help manage your company’s key IT and Information Security risks enabling you to have a better conversation with business leadership in terms that they understand.

James Mountain, CISO, Palmer College of Chiropractic

James Mountain is an experienced leader with over 16 years in IT. His current role is the Director of Information Security for Palmer College of Chiropractic providing strategic leadership and direction for campus academic technology applications and initiatives. His past work experiences include private, public and government industries. He has been a CISSP since 2011 while he worked for the Department of Defense. His main areas of focus are security, risk management, and infrastructure stability.
